Terms of Use.
The terms governing your use of this website and the CMT Engineers client portal.
Last updated · 19 June 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at cmtengineers.com.au and the CMT Engineers client portal (together, the “Site”), operated by CMT Engineers Pty Ltd (ABN 62 631 497 115) (“CMT”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the client portal, our servers or any connected systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, or introduce malicious code
- Scrape, harvest or copy content other than as permitted by these Terms or with our written consent
2. Restricted areas
Some areas of the Site may be made available only to authorised clients. If we provide you with access, you are responsible for keeping your access details secure and for activity carried out using them, and you agree that any information you provide to us is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We may suspend or withdraw access at any time.
3. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the “CMT Engineers” name and marks, photography, layout, design and code — is owned by or licensed to CMT and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you must not reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent. Project photography is CMT’s own.
4. Information only — not professional advice
The content on the Site is general information about CMT and our services. It does not constitute engineering, design, legal or other professional advice, and must not be relied on as such. Any engagement for our services is governed by a separate written agreement, and project deliverables are provided only under that agreement — not through this Site.
5. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we take care to keep it accurate and available, we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses, or that the information on it is current or complete.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CMT is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, or from reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, products or practices of those third parties.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the “Last updated” date shown above. Your continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
